I don’t know what my art is about, and I don’t know what it says about me as an artist. I am endlessly creating myself, with no intention of arriving at a singular final destination. My artistic practice speaks to a childlike curiosity in learning by working deeply with found materials, and other tactile mediums. Though I’ve trained in painting, collage, photography, and tech-based mediums, I would describe myself as a sculpture-based installation artist, who draws heavy inspiration from colors, textures, and sensations experienced across various artforms. Through my work, I hope to heal my own relationship with my inner child as a means to figure out who I am becoming each day.
